Run by Patrick Mallery from Upcycled Mushrooms and Rich Wright from Feed Bristol. This workshop will cover a variety of simple outdoor cultivation techniques of a several different edible species of fungi. This will include learning how to inoculate mushroom logs which give you fresh mushrooms for several years. In addition we'll look at how to make woodchip beds, from which you can grow the wine cap mushroom. The workshop will also cover some basic fungal ecology to give you a better understanding of fungi in general, but also how to care for your fungi beds and logs.
