Description:

There are many plants in our gardens and hedgerows, either cultivated or weeds that can be used for herbal First Aid. Common plants such as Calendula and Plantain are extremely versatile and healing. Having a well stocked First Aid cabinet, means you'll be prepared for life's little accidents and making your own medicines is empowering and fun! When you make your own medicines, you know exactly what's in them and can tailor them to your own needs. Creating your own medicines also allows you to connect more deeply to nature and yourself, and are not tested on animals or have such a negative impact on the environment. In this workshop we will take a short walk around the farm and learn about how to identify and collect important plants, and make a healing herbal salve to take home.
NB. This workshop will be looking at the bumps, knocks and minor aliments of everyday life, not emergency First Aid.
