Assistant thermal-imaging surveyor - volunteer


Learn all about how and where homes lose heat and carbon by joining The C.H.E.E.S.E Project (Cold Homes Energy Efficiency Survey Experts) as an assistant surveyor this Winter.
You will accompany and assist the lead Energy Tracers to carry out thermal imaging surveys of homes of all kinds across Bristol. You will ideally be doing between 1 and 6 surveys per week over the survey season - this is flexible and can accommodate holidays / other work / family commitments etc. The season runs from 1st November 2019 to May 2020. We're looking for at least 10 volunteers so please spread the word.

You will receive an induction and be supported by the core team and lead Energy Tracers to make it a valuable learning experience.

You will be entering people's homes therefore the utmost respect and courtesy is required at all times. We survey the full spectrum of houses across the city, encountering all types of homes, people and lifestyles. Our professionalism is upheld at all times. You must be willing to learn, and motivated to make a positive difference to people's lives.
