WaterSpace and Public Realm
We are recruiting for enthusiastic and driven Project Officers to work within our award winning multi-disciplinary team to help take forward our WaterSpace project into delivery and to develop and help deliver our StreetSpace projects (as part of a Public Realm and Movement programme).
Our WaterSpace partnership covers the River Avon and Kennet & Avon Canal network within Bath & North East Somerset. Project partners include Environment Agency; Canal & River Trust; Wessex Water. Our emerging Street Space projects, seek to develop a Public Realm & Movement programme in the World Heritage City Centre of Bath, along with market town and neighbourhood centres.
We are looking for a qualified Urban Designer and/or Landscape Architect with exceptional design and graphic presentation skills.
To succeed in this role it is expected that you will possess good analytical and problem solving skills, excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills, and exceptional design and graphic communication skills. You must be able to manage your time well and show an ability to ensure milestones and deliverables are set and achieved to time and to a high quality.
You will have the skills to managing positive relationships with public, private and third sector organisations. Partnership working and positive collaboration is a major part of our team ethos. Experience in project delivery, funding bids and participating in consultation events is highly desirable. This post is full time (37 hrs per week) fixed-term until 31/03/2021, available immediately with the potential to extend dependent upon the success of securing funding.
Salary: £29,909 - £37,107 per annum (Grade K-J)
