Foundation & Partnerships Manager

Description:

Bristol City Council and Bath and North East Somerset Council and Bristol Parks Forum have enabled the development of a Parks Foundation, an independent charity that will support the enhancement of public parks across the two cities.

We are now seeking a dynamic individual to push forward with the development of the Foundation and to enable us to deliver on our mission and towards our three year vision.

The Foundation is looking for someone with experience in a similar role and a good track record of partnership building, staff management, business planning and fundraising. The ideal candidate will be a confident and articulate communicator, a self-starter capable of managing a challenging workload and someone with a good understanding of the charitable sector and the importance of public spaces.

This is a 4 days/week role for an initial fixed term until December 2020 (with potential to extend dependent on performance and funding).
