Horticulture Assistant
12 hours a week (Monday & Wednesday 9am to 3pm)
We are recruiting for an exciting new role which will help to deliver the Farm’s Horticulture Project specifically tailored for people living with a mental health diagnosis. This role will also support healthy cooking activities using farm grown produce and will work alongside our Community Grower and the Farm’s Mental Health and Volunteering Lead to offer suitable gardening activities for a wide range of abilities.
We are looking for someone with experience of supporting people with a mental health diagnosis in a community and/or formal context, who also has good gardening knowledge and skills. You will also be able to communicate diplomatically and build trust and respect with a wide range of people at all levels and be creative, innovative and passionate about the therapeutic benefits of nature-based interventions in mental health.
