Living Landscape Project Manager


This is a key role within the Land Management Team that will help lead development of the team’s work and support in its delivery. The focus will be on driving and diversifying our income streams and the development of key projects.

We are looking for an exemplary land manager to maximise income generation from our nature reserves and secure funding from new sources for our landscape scale programmes. With a practical background and willingness to get involved in projects, this role will also include direct project management across AWT sites and private land holdings.

You will be a self-starter and resourceful in your approach with a passion for wildlife. You will also be highly organised, flexible and self-motivated with a proactive and positive approach to your work. Good record keeping and computing skills are also essential.
Avon Wildlife Trust is a charity dedicated to working with local people for local wildlife, covering the West of England region (former county of Avon). It is supported by more than 17,500 members, manages over 30 nature reserves and is one of 47 Wildlife Trusts in the UK. The Trust has grown its membership, turnover and landholdings in the past two years and this is an exciting time to join the Trust as we are delivering a number of leading initiatives that are subject to media attention and wider recognition.
