Team Communicate

Description:

Volunteers have been a vital part of running BNHC events across the Bristol and Bath region over the past 15 years. Each year Festival of Nature relies on 200+ volunteers to run our exciting and vital programme, helping educate and engage the public with nature. Although the Festival volunteer programme has spun off exciting projects like Bristol Nature Network, festival volunteers still ask for help to find greater numbers of meaningful volunteer opportunities for people who want to work in the environmental sector which are accessible to people in either full time work, with parental responsibilities, or for people who are not graduates.

Team Communicate is a pilot programme run by Bristol Natural History Consortium, the charity who runs Festival of Nature. The programme brings together different parts of our current volunteer programme, and invites 12 people to take a leadership role with our Festival of Nature volunteer team.
