Student Hubs is seeking host organisations in Bristol and Bath for its Social Impact Internship Scheme this summer. Being a host, your organisation takes on talented students while Student Hubs takes care of the recruitment process. It’s an excellent opportunity to add value and capacity to your organisation but be quick to apply because the deadline of Friday 11th May is fast approaching!
The aim of the internship scheme is to place socially committed students in socially impactful organisations for 7-week internships over the summer. Last year, Student Hubs placed 91 students in 53 organisations. Every single organisation agreed they gained greater access to intern talent through the scheme and their intern added value to their organisation. Discover more about the Scheme’s 2017 impact here.
Student Hubs takes responsibility for the recruitment and placement of students with skills, values and interests that align closely to participating organisations. It also provides training and support throughout the internship to make sure it’s a good experience for both the student and the host.
The Student Hubs Social Impact Internship Scheme is a great chance to work with socially engaged and talented students, who can bring a fresh perspective and make a positive contribution to your organisation. By participating in the Scheme students gain meaningful work experience in the social impact sector, which can be a crucial leg-up in their careers.
As well as Bristol and Bath, internship locations include London, Cambridge, Oxford and Winchester. The opportunity is open to all types of third sector organisations, or roles that have a focus on social impact (for example, placements within CSR departments).
